Yakin Sabar Istiqamah
Started in April 2016 at Masjid Khalid, by Ustaz Fadlon Osman, a prison religious counsellor and Ustaz Md Basir Md Shariff, an ex-offender with 18 years imprisonment, with the guidance of Ustaz Salim Mohamed Yusoff, a former prison religious teacher, this initiative is to help ex-offenders in their journey towards redemption. All are freelance religious teachers, ARS-Certified by MUIS. This is a program under MCS - Muslim Counselling Service, a non-profit registered society in Singapore.

Empowering the Community
YSI has led numerous successful programs that have produced real change for our Muslim ex-offenders and their families. Through Quranic studies, social counselling and specific programs organized by our dedicated members, we work to empower our beneficiaries in their rehabilitation towards change, moving them to rethink what is possible.

Our sponsored umrah program gives our beneficiaries a journey of redemption to the two holy lands in Islam, forging an everlasting bond for them and their belief system.
SPONSOR A QURAN STUDENT
A full-sponsorship for our members who enrolled and graduated in the Specialised Quranic Teachers Certificate and Diploma courses in Darul Quran Singapore.
To date, 2 students have obtained the Diploma and 6 have obtained the Certificate level. This initiative was organised by Screenbox Pte Ltd, led by Sujimy Mohamed

We are active participants in this annual charity drive by Muslim Counselling Service in sharing the spirit of Ramadhan by giving our needy beneficiaries a ray of hope as our social responsibility.
